Control Unit - Audi A3/S3 (8P) MOPF - engine control unit Bosch EDC16U1

Fault in Bosch EDC 16U1 engine control unit.

The engine does not start or runs very unevenly. The injectors are reported as defective. The control of the injection nozzles is faulty. Faults occur in the 5-volt circuit. No communication can be established with the engine control unit.

Error code:

P1640 – Control unit – component defective

Please note:

In addition to the engine control unit, the instrument cluster and an ignition key must also be sent in.

Replacement unit for irreparable faults
