Repairs - Audi A7/S7 (4K) C8 - complete failure - virtual cockpit

Complete failure of the digital instrument cluster.

The Virtual Cockpit fails, meaning that the driver assistance systems are no longer available, as they use the Virtual Cockpit’s graphical interface. The warning tones and the clicking sound of the indicators cease to function.

Various error messages appear on the digital instrument cluster, such as:

- ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) not available
- Front Assist not available
- Error: Instrument cluster. See your dealer!

In some cases, the display on the 12.3-inch speedometer remains dark, with only the indicator lights and the side displays illuminated. In other cases, one of the side displays may fail, whilst the remaining displays continue to function as normal.
