Control Unit - BMW X5 E53 - engine control unit Bosch EDC16C35
Fault in Bosch EDC 16C35 engine control unit.
The vehicle will not start. Faults are reported in the 5-volt circuit. The injectors are reported as defective. The temperature gauge is in the red zone. No communication with the engine control unit possible.
Error codes:
P0603 – Control unit internal error
P0606 – Control unit defective

Replacement unit for irreparable faults
If it is no longer possible to repair the engine control unit, we can usually supply a low-cost used part. The data can almost always be transferred from the original to the replacement unit, eliminating the need for programming on the vehicle.
