Control Unit - Ford Cougar - engine control unit EEC-V

Fault in the EEC-V engine control unit.

The engine is difficult to start, or will not start at all. The ignition coil control is faulty.
Faults are occurring in the 5-volt circuit. The control unit has failed completely.

Please ring us in advance, to clarify whether any other components need to be sent in alongside the engine control unit.

Replacement unit for irreparable faults

If the engine control unit can no longer be repaired, we can, in most cases, supply an affordable second-hand part. The data can almost always be transferred from the original unit to the replacement unit, meaning that no programming is required on the vehicle.
