Control Unit - Mercedes B W246 - EIS Ignition switch repair
The EZS (electronic ignition starter switch) fails.
The vehicle can no longer be opened by remote control. The car does not start or only starts after several attempts. The ignition key is not recognised or cannot be turned. The fault occurs sporadically at first, but later becomes permanent. The failure is particularly frequent in cold weather.
The EZS repair does not include repair of the keys.
Note
Please send in both main ignition keys together with the EZS.
