Control Unit - Mercedes C W204 - ESL repair
Fault in the electronic steering wheel lock (ELV).
The vehicle will not start. The steering wheel lock does not unlock.
Fault codes:
A25407 / B225407 - Mechanical fault
A25408 / B225408 - Signal fault
A25409 / B225409 - Fault in the control unit
A25464 / B225464 - Implausible signal
Please note:
In addition to the ELV, both ignition keys and the EZS must also be sent in.
Note
Please send the ELV (electronic steering wheel lock) always without the steering column.
We charge an additional fee of £150* for dismantling the steering column.
