Control Unit - Mercedes SL R230 (MOPF) - EIS Ignition switch repair

The EZS (electronic ignition switch) fails.

The vehicle can no longer be opened using the remote control. The car does not start or only starts after several attempts. The fault occurs sporadically at first, then permanently later on. The failure occurs more frequently in cold weather.

The EZS repair does not include repair of the keys.

Note:

Please send both main ignition keys together with the EZS.

Fault memory:

B1000 - The N73 control unit (EZS control unit) is defective.
9007 Interior CAN bus: CAN high line has open circuit
