The engine does not start or runs very unevenly. Ignition does not occur on all cylinders.
Error codes:
140401 – Combustion misfire detected in cylinder 4 – injection deactivated
140402 – Combustion misfire detected in cylinder 4 – exhaust-related error
140404 - Combustion misfire detected in cylinder 4 - Exhaust-related error
140410 - Combustion misfire detected in cylinder 4 - Combustion misfire detected
Replacement unit for irreparable faults
If repair of the engine control unit is no longer possible, we can usually supply an inexpensive used part. The data can almost always be transferred from the original to the replacement unit, eliminating the need for programming on the vehicle.
