Control Unit - Skoda Superb I (3U) - engine control unit Bosch EDC16U31

Error in the Bosch EDC 16U31 engine control unit.

The engine does not start or runs very erratically. The control of the injection nozzles is faulty. Errors occur in the 5-volt circuit. Communication with the ABS control unit is not possible.

Error codes:

P1664 - Control valves for pump-nozzle electrical fault in the circuit
P1958 - Sensor 2 for exhaust gas temperature bank 1 (G448) Short circuit to plus

Replacement unit for irreparable faults

If it is no longer possible to repair the engine control unit, in most cases we can supply an inexpensive used part. The data can almost always be transferred from the original unit to the replacement unit, so there is no need for programming on the vehicle.
