Display error / touch error in the 8-inch Discover Media Display - MIB 2.5.

A section of the display is darker and reddish in colour. The touchscreen only reacts to touches in a partial area, individual letters are not accepted during input or the touchscreen is completely without function. This results in phantom inputs, also known as ghost touch, where the screen moves independently. The touch function operates the navigation device by itself, for example, the device automatically calls up the saved contacts from the phone book memory or changes radio stations. The device zooms forwards and backwards on its own. The display partially or completely fails and can no longer be operated. Only stripes can be seen on the display; no more information can be read. Bubbles have formed under the glass of the Discover Media display.
