Control Unit - VW T5 - engine control unit Bosch EDC16U31
Error in Bosch EDC 16U31 engine control unit.
The engine does not start or runs very unevenly. The control of the injection nozzles is faulty. Errors occur in the 5-volt circuit. Communication with the control unit is not possible.
Error codes:
P0605 - Control unit - Error in memory
P1664 - Control of valves for pump nozzle - Electrical error in circuit
P1958 - Sensor 2 for exhaust gas temperature bank 1 (G448) Short circuit to positive

Replacement unit for irreparable faults
If it is no longer possible to repair the engine control unit, in most cases we can supply an inexpensive used part. The data can almost always be transferred from the original to the replacement unit, so there is no need for programming on the vehicle.
